An IRA Gift at Work

Dr. Glenn '62 and Gail Fenneman are longtime supporters of Wartburg College. Glenn is Professor Emeritus in Mathematics. He enjoyed working with students for 35 years, and because he and Gail live next door to campus, they still enjoy the students and stay engaged in the life of the college. They also enjoy making gifts using their IRA assets.

"We like the advantages of supporting the Annual Fund and increasing our endowed scholarship with gifts from our IRA. It's easy to do, we can have our IRA custodian send the check directly to the college, and it counts toward our required minimum distribution, all of which reduces our taxable income," Glenn says.

"Most of all, we know it impacts the students and enriches their experience at Wartburg College."
